A complete walkthrough of our 3 core calculation engines: from configuring multi-person crew headcounts and detecting contract service charge traps to printing your official bank teller withdrawal slip.
Select Your Booked Wedding Vendors
Open the Tip Calculator. The left configurator panel displays pre-loaded cards for all 10 standard wedding vendor categories:
Toggle off any vendors you didn't book. If you have unique vendors (like a Dog Chaperone, Fireworks Tech, or Babysitter), click the "+ Add Custom Envelope" button at the bottom of the list.
Choose Percentage vs. Flat Rate Mode
Every vendor card supports two distinct calculation modes depending on your booking contract:
Prevent Double-Tipping on Service Charges
Crucial step to save $1,000+: Check your Catering, Venue, and Shuttle Bus contracts for line items labeled "Service Charge" or "Administrative Fee" (typically 18%–24%).
When you check this toggle on the Catering or Shuttle cards, the tool automatically disables the bloated $1,500–$2,500 percentage tip and converts it into a direct personal cash bonus ($50–$100 per server/bartender/driver). This prevents double-tipping while putting cash directly into hourly workers' pockets.
Review Your Master Bank Teller Requisition Slip
Navigate to the Master Bank Teller Slip. Our greedy denomination algorithm rounds each envelope to the nearest $5 and calculates the exact combination of:
Click "Copy Teller Request" or "Print Official Slip". When you walk into your bank branch, hand the printed slip directly to the teller. You will receive the exact physical currency required with zero change-making issues.
Stuff & Distribute with the Checklist
Once you return from the bank, open the Envelope Stuffing Guide. Each vendor card shows:
- Exact Bills to Stuff: e.g., "1×$100 + 1×$50 + 1×$20".
- Assigned Deliverer: Who carries the envelope (Best Man, Maid of Honor, or Coordinator).
- Hand-Off Timing: When to deliver it (Morning prep, after ceremony setup, or end of reception).
- Interactive Checkbox: Mark the envelope as "Stuffed & Sealed". Your progress auto-saves to your device.
You can also print the Avery Cut-Out Labels from this page to slip directly into each envelope with a pre-formatted thank-you note.
Share with Your Coordinator or Fiancé
Never waste time re-entering numbers. In the calculator's top bar, click "Copy Coordinator Link". This encodes your entire customized vendor configuration into a shareable URL.
